On the 22nd April 2026, I (Jasmine) attended a symposium in Manchester, UK. The symposium was hosted by the interdisciplinary research group, Contemporary Intimacies, Sexualities and Genders, which investigates intimate relationships, gender relations, eroticism and sexuality. I successfully applied to present a paper that emerged out of mid-fieldwork findings, and was connected with scholars working across the social science disciplines on related issues.
