First Rhythms of Love Advisory Board Meeting

On June 2nd 2025 the Rhythms of Love core team met altogether with the advisory board for the first time. The advisory board consists of Rachel Spronk, Professor of Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam and an expert in ethnography, sexuality, and difference; Lena Gunnarsson, Associate Professor of Gender Studies at the Örebro University and an expert in feminist (love) studies in Western Europe; Susanne Schmidt, Assistant Professor of History of Science at Humboldt University and expert in midlife studies; and Dawn Lyon, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Kent and an expert in rhythmanalysis, and sociology of work, time and everyday life. In this first meeting, the board provided feedback on the research proposals of Avery and Jaz. The second and final meeting will focus on the analysis of research findings and is expected to be held in the spring of 2027.
